Privacy Policy
1) What this policy covers
This policy describes the information processed when you use Moneyline, including data kept in your browser and standard request data handled by our hosting providers.
2) Data stored in your browser
Moneyline stores your game state in your browser so a refresh does not wipe your current run. That local data can include your current round, your picks, your completed score, and whether you have already started a session.
This local data stays on your device unless you clear browser storage yourself.
3) Data processed by our infrastructure
Our hosting and network providers may process standard request data such as IP address, user-agent, request path, and timestamp in order to deliver, cache, and secure the site.
4) Cookies and analytics
We use PostHog for product analytics to measure things like pageviews, game starts, guesses, completed games, and result-sharing activity.
Moneyline uses PostHog in cookieless mode for UK, EU, and EEA traffic based on server-detected country. Outside those regions, PostHog may use cookies or localStorage identifiers. If the server cannot determine your country, cookieless mode is used by default. We also enable PostHog's "respect Do Not Track" setting globally.
5) Legal basis for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, standard request data processed by our hosting providers is processed under legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for the purposes of delivering and securing the service.
6) International data transfers
Our hosting and delivery providers may process data in the United States. If you are located in the EU or UK, that may involve cross-border data transfers subject to the safeguards offered by those providers.
7) Your choices
You can clear Moneyline's locally stored game data at any time using your browser's site storage controls.
8) Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — for example, the ICO in the UK at ico.org.uk.
9) Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below these ages.
10) California residents (CCPA)
We do not sell personal information. California residents may contact us to request information about data we hold or to request deletion.
11) Retention
Browser-stored game data remains until you clear it or overwrite it by starting a new run. Infrastructure logs are retained according to the policies of our providers.
12) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent version.
